[0003] The present invention relates to a new and distinct cultivar of Ficus, botanically known as Ficus Lyrata.

[0004] The new Ficus was discovered by the Inventor in October 2024, in a controlled environment in a nursery in Miami, Florida. The parent plants are unknown. Asexual propagation of the new cultivar by cuttings since February 2025, in Miami, Florida, has shown that the unique features of this new Ficus are stable and reproduced true to type in successive generations.

[0005] The following traits have been repeatedly observed and are determined to be unique characteristics of the new Ficus. These characteristics in combination distinguish the new Ficus as a new and distinct cultivar:

[0011] Plants of the new Ficus can be compared to the plants of the Ficus cultivar ‘Bambino’, patented as U.S. Plant Pat. No. 9,323P. In side-by-side comparisons conducted by the Inventor in Miami, Florida, plants of the new Ficus differed from plants of the cultivar ‘Bambino’ in the following characteristics:

[0029] The cultivar Ficus has not been observed under all possible environmental conditions. The phenotype may vary somewhat with variations in environment such as temperature and light intensity without, however, any variance in genotype.

[0030] The aforementioned photographs and following observations and measurements describe plants of the new Ficus that were grown in an outdoor nursery in Miami, Florida in partial shade to low light conditions in a 17 inch pot. During the production of the plants, day temperatures averaged about 82° F. Plants used for the photographs and description were about 2 years from planting. Color references are made to The Royal Horticultural Society Colour Chart, version 1995, except where general terms of ordinary dictionary significance are used.
