[0002] Embodiments of the invention relate generally to an electronic device and a manufacturing method of the electronic device and, more specifically, to an electronic device including a polarizing plate having a non-polarizing area and a manufacturing method of the electronic device.

Users prefer an electronic device having a wider display area and a narrower bezel area. To this end, the development of electronic devices of various configurations is underway, and an example is an electronic device in which a camera and a sensor overlap a display area.

[0004] On the other hand, there is a need to increase the transmittance of a portion of a polarizing plate applied to an electronic device in order to allow a camera to overlap a display area, and to this end, studies of various manufacturing methods of an electronic device are being carried out.
