[0001] The present invention relates to an environment evaluation technique and in particular, to a system, a method, a recording medium, and a program for evaluating environment information related to an amount of a predetermined chemical substance contained in a product for a product supplier providing apparatuses and products.

[0002] Recently, as an ecology-action plan, product suppliers should perform, for example, the following as a target of environment effect related to products. It should be noted that descriptions in the following parentheses indicate specific examples.

[0006] In the above, LCA (life cycle assessment) is to grasp and to manage or control an amount of CO₂ which is generated during production of a product until disposal of the product and which brings about earth warming.

[0007] Moreover, on the side of a customer who receives a product from a supplier, more and more customers promote to purchase products which consider the effect to the environment. There are also customers who decide a product supply guideline and demand environment index data of a product when the product is delivered from a supplier.

[0008] For such a product delivery guideline, product suppliers are performing necessary environment countermeasures such as:

[0010] Suppressing use of harmful substances and controlling an amount of harmful substances contained

[0013] As has been described above, it is necessary for product suppliers to satisfy environmental condition.

[0014] By the way, environment information control is comparatively advanced in the large-amount production industry such as personal computers and mobile telephones but the industry of small-amount many-type production is insufficiently advanced about the environment information control.

[0015] This is because in the industry of small-amount many-type production, an enormous number of parts are used and collecting environment risk information of all the parts requires an enormous number of steps. Practically, realization is substantially impossible only by making an effort by a single enterprise.

[0016] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a system, an apparatus, a method, and a recording medium capable of evaluating environment information of a product with a high accuracy even when collection of environment information is insufficient.

Thus, it is possible to cope with a plurality of control principles.

Accordingly, in the present invention, for a mechanical part, a harmful substance content of the material per unit weight and a harmful substance content of plating and coating per unit area are held and managed as harmful material information.
